It is therefore too simplistic to categorize all brain fog caused by deficiencies under the umbrella of neuro-inflammation. Sometimes there is a more direct explanation. In other cases, it is not yet clear which mechanism is responsible.

What causes poor mineral absorption?

A deficiency does not always occur because someone is not eating enough of a mineral. Sometimes the body is unable to properly absorb nutrients.
